Heiko has a great background of experiences, sailing, refitting, troubleshooting, engineering and lots more... but he likes to stay quiet about it (just watch him work)
Being a perfectionist, organized and reliable are the characteristics the people he works with appreciate most, besides being a great team leader and colleague.
He is a brilliant navigator and sailor who knows how to manage & maneuver large sailing & motor yachts.
During the last 17 years Heiko has travelled around the world, where he gained a great spectrum of experiences. As a professional and commercially endorsed Yacht Captain, he was responsible for the operation of private- and charter Yachts up to 200 tons, traveling to Australia, Asia, USA, Europe, South America and the Caribbean.
While working in Australia, he was also in charge of the planning and operation of multi-day safaris, guided nature tours and team-incentives.
Back in Germany Heiko worked as a Commercial Salesman for Vodafone Germany, where he received a World-class training in communication, sales, marketing and project management.
Since 2003 Heiko is a Resident in Mallorca, Spain.
His technical background and Yachting experiences, lead him to large Yacht refit Projects, where he was responsible for the planning and technical supervision of the projects. Setting up contracts and
negotiations with the clients and subcontractors as well as budget planning and controlling were part of his responsibilities.
But the lure of the sea was stronger!
For the last four years he is back at sea, where he is working now as a team with is lovely wife Lily and once again showing his professional experience and hospitality.
They are both dedicated to continue in this beautiful industry for quite some time to achieve their personal goals.
Heiko has recently taken over the Captains position of
a Super Yacht currently in Production in UK.
