Lily is a native of Colombia. Since an early age she was very keen to study and to learn a profession.
She built up a 13-year Office career, working in all areas including finance, accountability, purchasing, and secretarial-and customer services for local & international companies. (Accomplished by part time studies at university and private institutes).
Her positive work attitude, motivation and outgoing personality paid off and Lily’s dream came true.
Lily moved to Spain in 2001 and is currently a resident & citizen in the Balearic islands, Spain.
The permanent thirst for study and education brought her to the UIB University in Mallorca, where she studied hospitality and tourism, specializing in reception work. Living on an Island, it didn’t take her long before she discovered her love of the sea.
It was on MY Cantabria, where she gained her first Stewardess and boating experiences and met the love of her life. She loves her Job, which she takes very seriously in all details. During the last four years she did a fantastic job and has developed into a serious yachtswoman with all relevant training, certificates and hands-on experience.
During her time on SY True blue, she spent a lot of time at sea, sailing the Atlantic waters together with Heiko and is now a competent Crew and watch person, not shy to take over the helm.

While at work and in her life, she likes everything spotlessly clean and organized. She is big on details and manages always to impress with some new decoration or flower arrangement.
Being the chief of housekeeping, the maitre-D, kitchen hand and deckhand at the same time is not easy, but she manages all her duties with a peacefull routine and always with a smile
She is big-hearted, generous and has a natural counseling talent due to her open & friendly attitude. Her high level of social competence together with her professionalism at work, make her a wonderful and invaluable crew member to have on board.

At the moment she is working as Stewardess on the 65m Super Yacht White Rose of Drachs. In October she will join
her husband on his current new build project in England.
